Participation of Youth in Today’s WorldIn today’s world, the youth is often portrayed in negative ways – as reckless troublemakers, troubles to the adult society, and one who indulge in unethical behavior. However, the truth is that youth are not responsible for such an outrage. Moreover, the truth is often hided or misinterpreted no matter how persuasive the views of the adults may appear to be.

In fact, a huge population of today’s youth can be seen planning and implementing development plans and leading a meaningful life. In every small corner of the world, one can see a youth and not an adult in spearheading positive social and economic change. The modern day youth entrepreneurs and social activists are perfect examples of the youth phenomena.

The world will be a better place if the creative and thoughtful ideas of the youth can be seen and implemented with an open-minded approach. In addition to that, more efforts can be made to nurture the productive behavior of the young society as they are “assets beyond recognition” when guided to the path of active citizenship.

To be true, the association of youth with the world is absolutely imperative in all kinds of developmental processes. This is predominantly because the youth has creative abilities and unique ideas that extend well beyond the mind of an adult. Furthermore, modern-day youth can be seen playing an active role in majority of communities and local population. This is the reason why the youth is often called as future custodians of their environments and future leaders of their peers.

These peer mentors of tomorrow can be guided by adults with qualified experience to nurture a responsible sense of identity and build competencies within them.

The world just needs to let them grow to the best of their abilities and stand in complete disguise with the unmatched abilities of the Next Generation.
