Youth – Future of the Nation

Youth - Future of the NationThe political landscape in Botswana is getting a new definition with the country’s political stage attracting the attention of the young and old with equal flavor. The entire world is watching, including President Robert Mugabe.

The fact that young people have a better understanding of situations and better positioned to tackle those goes into favor of the youth and politics should allow young people.

From Sundaystandard.info:

I love young people. In my opinion there have been stereotypes that portrayed them as shallow minded, irresponsible, too young to think for themselves, not confident enough to lead and hence could not be trusted with the future of our country.

They are referred to as ‘Leaders of tomorrow’ when they think they can start doing it today. I am aware that politics need patience and control which is missing in most of young people, but we all learn as we go.

Young people are generally impulsive and can act in a wrong manner without thinking.

But with mentorship and advice of the older generation they can take out the best in them. A country cannot think for tomorrow with yesterday’s ideas.

The problems our nation faces are new and require new ways of tackling them which the old guard cannot offer.

Young people would have a better understanding of the situation now and are better equipped to tackle the situation.

While the nation moves on from one idea to another the old generation remains stuck with the old framework that they realized early on, they continue to see all situations and solutions to them through this same old understanding which may no longer be valid.

Political system of each country must have a blend of elders and youth so that passion, patriotism, and management of politics stimulate the growth and development of countries.

Entry of Youth into Politics – Debated Issue

Youth into Politics
Many people are of the view that members of the youth community should be encouraged to enter politics but this has always been a debated issue. Let us have a feel of this issue to gain a clear insight and find out if the youth of today is actually ready and should take this big responsibility.

Young society members have often been accused of spending too much of their time on waste or notorious activities. Some of them do indulge in such activities but surely not all of them. The young Gen-X finds it easy to accept the blame rather than making an outcry to defend the truth. This creates a bad impression and this is one of the biggest reasons why political and economic veterans do not encourage the entry of youth in politics. However, truth is truth and cannot be hidden behind the walls of “myth” for long. Youngsters of today are excelling in every segment and the world of politics is no exception. From eminent names such as John F Kennedy (Youngest President of USA) to John Watson (Youngest PM of Australia), young guns have always shown that they can change the world with their refined approach whether the world accepts the fact or not.

Point to remember: While debating whether to allow youth to enter into politics or not, it should always be remembered that youngsters are harbingers of the new era of values besides being the torchbearers of their respective nations. They must be given motivation to take big responsibilities. However, the onus of understanding this fact and accepting the responsibility to free their native citizens from injustice, corruption, and divisive trends still lies with the youth who often choose to stay unbothered and reluctant to accept the task & must accept the responsibilities with willing hands.

Conclusion: Youngsters are ready to take politics but should be first encouraged to clean the “dirt” in politics and act for the betterment. Unless the youth is entrusted with responsibility and given due respect for their decision, the entry to world of politics would not be a possibility.

There is no doubt that youngsters can change the outlook of a nation in the best possible manner but the direction to make the change should be encouraged by the experience of “veterans”, who must be more than willing to handover charge of their responsibilities to the young members of the society so that every nation of the world can be a prosperous and happy one. That was all from our side, keep reading!

We hope that this blog on entry of youth in politics was useful to you in more than just a way.

Youth and Success complements each other
Author: admin

Posted in Youth Development | |

Youth and Success complements each otherIn every sense of the world, it would not be wrong to say that youth and success complements each other. The recent success of young entrepreneurs and sportsmen and many more have rightly justified this truth before one and all.

It would not be wrong to say that the modern youth has completely revolutionized the world for the better. The active participation of youth in different spheres of life such as administration, politics, management, and sports has surprised all who were previously underestimating the power of youth.

One could not undermine the fact that it has been the youth that has been able to stand tall against tough competition and high expectation amidst these tough times of recession in relevance to the business world. It would be surprising for you to read that most of the youth-owned businesses were unchallenged by the recent big tides of recession.

The fact that youth and success complements each other gets better understood by the fact that the presence of youth was greeted by even the old stalwarts and market gurus. This was simply because while the old stalwarts offer experience, the youth offers generation of new and innovative ideas, which are completely unique to them.

To conclude, it would not be wrong to say that youth and success are inter-linked and offer great hopes to the world by meeting their expectations to deliver better and effective results.
