Inner Turmoil Grappled By Dreams

A new study has revealed that dreams are a gateway for grappling the inner turmoil human beings face in their lives.

The Daily Mail reported scientists have found that dreaming is essential to cope with emotional stress.

From in.news.yahoo.com:

The team studied 35 healthy young adults, divided into two groups. All of them viewed 150 emotional images, twice and 12 hours apart, while an MRI scanner measured their brain activity.

Half of the participants viewed the images in the morning and again in the evening, staying awake between the two viewings. The remaining half viewed the images in the evening and again the next morning after a full night of sleep. Those who slept in between image viewings reported a significant decrease in their emotional reaction to the images.

The MRI scans showed that sleep caused a dramatic reduction in reactivity in the amygdala, a part of the brain that processes emotions.

Getting Successful by staying close to Motivation
Dreams
are ladder steps for staying ahead of the competition and reaching the point of zenith. However, we need to focus largely on them and formulate, implement actions so that they can be attained easily.

We all have dreams. But in order to make dreams come into reality, it takes an awful lot of determination, dedication, self-discipline, and effort. – Jesse Owens

Do you know the difference between education and experience? Education is when you read the fine print; experience is what you get when you don’t. – Pete Seeger

Experiences are savings which a miser puts aside. Wisdom is an inheritance which a wastrel cannot exhaust. – Karl Kraus

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so. – Douglas Adams

There is nothing so easy to learn as experience and nothing so hard to apply. – Josh Billings

Being busy does not always mean real work. The object of all work is production or accomplishment and to either of these ends there must be forethought, system, planning, intelligence, and honest purpose, as well as perspiration. Seeming to do is not doing. – Thomas A. Edison

A man’s work is nothing but this slow trek to rediscover, through the detours of art, those two or three great and simple images in whose presence his heart first opened. – Albert Camus

Going to work for a large company is like getting on a train. Are you going sixty miles an hour or is the train going sixty miles an hour and you’re just sitting still? - J. Paul Getty

I have always argued that change becomes stressful and overwhelming only when you’ve lost any sense of the constancy of your life. You need firm ground to stand on. From there, you can deal with that change. – Richard Nelson Bolles

How to make your dreams come true!
Author: admin

Posted in Youth Development

How to make your dreams come true!We all love to dream. They are like our wings to reach for destinations we think are otherwise impossible to reach. They give us hope, an impetus to move forward and make a happy living. I’m sure each one of us dreams of achieving something or the other in life but truly manifesting them in reality is where the actual key lies. But why is it that most of us only stay back dreaming all our life? Why don’t we get up and simply achieve what we desire? I’ll tell you why. We are not able to reach our goals because we are victims of our own thinking. Because we ourselves think that it is impossible for us go that far and so we give up. We might blame it on lack of resources or any other thing but if we really desire something in life, nothing can possibly stop us from achieving it. However, the biggest challenge that today’s youth faces is not about not knowing what they want from life but not knowing how to go about achieving it.

In my last blog post I discussed the fundamentals necessary for achieving one’s goal. Let’s take a quick look at them.

 • The foremost thing is realizing what you actually want from life. Think about what really captures your interest. Give it a good thought for unless you know what you truly want, your journey won’t start.
 • Second comes strengthening your belief system. Believing in yourself is the key to achieving your dreams. Your confidence and firm determination are the anchors that’ll help you fight all impediments, surmount all difficulties reach your goal.
 • The first step of defining your goal starts with writing them down. The toll of everyday pressures often makes us forget our target. Writing them and pasting them at a place that frequently catches our attention will keep reminding us of it.

The final leap lies in taking action towards achieving your target. We often end up procrastinating things, thinking we can always do them later. If we really want to achieve our goal, this must be avoided at all costs. No matter how busy how schedule is, try taking at least one step towards it everyday.

You should know that your journey of achieving your goal should be as enjoyable as the feeling of achieving it is, for you.

Manifest your dreams!

Posted in Youth Development

Manifest your dreams!Dreams are like our wings, our rays of hope and our bridge to destinations we’ve considered impossible to reach. I’m sure each one of us dreams of achieving something in life but manifesting them in reality is where we actually slip. Sometimes we think it is impossible for us go that far and we give up. Sometimes lack of resources makes us retreat and sometimes we don’t really know how to go about seeking the path to achieve them.

Well, in my last post I talked about the fundamentals to get started towards this process. Let me revise them for you. The first thing is to realize what you actually want from life. This is because unless you know what you truly want, you won’t be able to start your journey. Second comes believing in yourself. The key to making your dreams come true starts with first believing that you can achieve them; that you have the potential to scan the heights and touch the stars. Your confidence in yourself and your determination should be firm and absolutely unshakable. However, this process is not an easy one and we often tend to forget our goals amidst pressures of everyday life. So you need to write your dreams on a piece of paper and paste it somewhere you can see it often. This will help remind you of your mission time and again.

Now the final step lies in taking action towards achieving your goals. Most of us lose because we start procrastinating, thinking we can always do it later. Avoid that! It is imperative that you take action everyday. If your schedule is too busy, try taking at least one step towards your goal. Success is about taking the right action at the desired time.

Remember that your journey of achieving your goals should be as enjoyable as the thought of dreaming for it is for you. Once you start seeing the results, it is mandatory that you review them also to ensure that you are going in the right direction. I won’t say this process is an easy one but if the goal is something that you really want to achieve, it will definitely give you happiness!

Attempt and Success are Co-related
Author: admin

Attempt and Success are Co-relatedAn attempt can be classified as an individual to stand by his own principles and thoughts; it can be a good attempt and even a bad attempt. No matter the result, the power to act with an attempt is what is counted at the end of the day. In life, you will see several strong-built people who fail to climb even the first step of hurdles. You may also come across thin-built people who stand against all odds defying them with their true power. If body strength is not the reason for an attempt, what can be the possible reason for an individual to make an attempt?

All of us have dreams. All the dreams can be made possible. A dream which is not possible is nothing but just a mere wastage of life, which came as a result of self-illusions and over-estimation of self capabilities. There is no point in criticizing or praising destiny for the bad and good times of your life. If you are strong in your will-power and possess the zeal to come out strong, you will attempt. On the other hand, if you are made of sand, you will be blown into pieces by the heavy showers of ocean waves.

Unless you can dream and make those dreams realities of life, there is no use of you living in the dark shadows of life. If you cannot think beyond the comfort zone of yours, you will never ever succeed in your life. There is no use of nurturing dreams for this section of people. However, these people can also change their lives but that needs some concrete efforts. They need to prioritize things, work on their dreams by coming out of their comfort zones. Always remember that no one of us is born with pre-embedded qualities, we all learn on this Earth and no one as an individual is an exception.

Learn to fulfill your dreams; do not go blindly for unrealistic dreams. Start working, it does not matter if you run at tortoise’s pace in the initial stages and later on, start walking like a proud human being.
