Building Self Confidence

Building Self ConfidenceTough times bring the best and worst in people and if you think that your worse comes out superseding the good in pressure situations, it is time for you to emphasize on building self confidence.

Self confidence is needed to win every battle of life, personal and professional. The power to standby your mind is something that is exclusive to all and yet accessible to one and all but only if self-confidence is being worked upon.

The process of building self-confidence is not a difficult one but does require a high sense of care, patience, effort, and diligence. And if you want to develop or increase the level of confidence deep within you, you must learn a few lessons.

Always emphasize on ethics and learn to be happy. Believing in the almighty and practicing meditation can help you to a significant extent. Moreover, speak less but speak when it is needed and think before you speak. At times, it is good to be “pessimistic” to think about possible worse results before making a decision but emphasize on creating a positive blend of optimistic and pessimistic approaches. Make goals that can be achieved as there is no point in creating goals that are beyond realization. If results are not coming in your way, observe patience. Stay happy with whatever you have as what you have and do not care is something that others dream about.

In addition to that, keep eye contact while talking with others and never get afraid or hesitant to express a thought if that is correct as per you. If some one is better than you, take lessons and if you are better than some one, help him and your confidence will increase to rocket heights. Remember, we all live in a society and there cannot be any happiness and confidence till we help each other to be better human beings.

That is all you need for building self confidence.

How to coach your kids!

How to coach your kids!
Coaching youngsters is one of the most challenging endeavors we confront in today’s times. This is because the younger breeds today are more impatient, sensitive to admonition and are impulsive doers. In order to make them do what is right, rather than what they think is right, one has to be extremely cautious and patient, lest things might go out of hand

Hence here are some tips that will not only aid professional coaches but parents as well to develop the required attitude while dealing with kids.

A coach first has to be a winner himself. By winner, I mean a winner in thought and spirit – a person who has risen above his inhibitions of the self and invariably achieved his goal. This is so because only such a person can make a winner out of kids. One must understand that ability needs nurturing and a coach owns the responsibility to induct positive attitude in each member of the team.

One must be extremely careful about the manner of articulation while coaching the kids. Neither be too soft nor be too harsh which can be misunderstood as arrogance as well. Kids should know that there will be no sparing in breaking the rules and that any aberration will not be entertained in any way. Also the routine one follows should be strictly abided to avoid students from getting distracted.

Never yell or express your displeasure at them until necessary. Also yelling instructions from the sidelines will only confuse the kids which might hinder their natural abilities.

The kids should be exposed to an active regime which demands their efforts to be at their best. ‘Failure’ for them shouldn’t be an option which for them should not be synonymous with loosing. Failure should be addressed as something that makes one give-up in life.

A good coach should lay emphasis on the importance of defeat. It should be taught to be a stepping stone to success. Children should also be taught to appreciate the skills of their rivals and made to learn from them. This very spirit will not only help make them winners in the game but in real walk of life as well.

Look to your health; and if you have it, praise God, and value it next to a good conscience; for health is the second blessing that we mortals are capable of; a blessing that money cannot buy. – Izzak Walton

To me, good health is more than just exercise and diet. It’s really a point of view and a mental attitude you have about yourself. – Angela Lansbury

“So many people spend their health gaining wealth, and then have to spend their wealth to regain their health.” – A. J. Reb Materi
